This Disclaimer explains the limits of our responsibility when you use this planning poker service. If you create a room, join a room, or otherwise use the service, you are deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
1. Service provided as is
The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We may change, interrupt, limit, or remove features at any time, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or suitability for any specific purpose.
2. Your data and responsibility
You are responsible for the data, content, names, notes, messages, estimates, and other material you enter, share, or upload while using the service. Do not use the service for unlawful content, material you do not have the right to use, or information that would create unnecessary privacy, compliance, or security risk. You remain solely responsible for keeping your own copies of anything important.
3. Storage, browser data, and retention
Gameplay data is not intended to be stored permanently on the server. Active room state may pass through temporary server memory during a live session, and browser-side data may be stored in local storage, session storage, or essential cookies so your preferences and session experience continue to work. Only essential cookies or similar browser storage are intended to be used by default for preferences and session continuity; analytics or marketing cookies are not intended to be used unless stated separately.
You may lose data if you clear browser data, block storage or cookies, switch devices or browsers, or close a tab or browser window during an active session. Feedback that you explicitly send through the feedback form may be stored separately on the server. Do not rely on the service as your only place to keep important information.
4. Security, sensitive information, and retention limits
We take reasonable steps to operate the service, but no browser-based or networked service can be guaranteed fully secure, private, or always available. Do not submit passwords, payment data, secrets, special category personal data, or other highly sensitive information unless you are fully comfortable with the risk and legally entitled to share it.
5. Connectivity, third-party services, and external dependencies
Service availability can depend on your browser, device, network, VPN, firewall rules, peer-to-peer connectivity, and third-party infrastructure such as STUN or TURN services. If the service links to, embeds, or depends on third-party tools or infrastructure, we are not responsible for their content, availability, security, or behavior.
6. Fair use and prohibited misuse
You may not use the service in a way that is unlawful, abusive, disruptive, misleading, or intended to overload the service. Unauthorized automation, scraping, bulk abuse, credential attacks, or attempts to interfere with sessions, storage, or connectivity are prohibited.
7. Changes and limitation of liability
We may update this Disclaimer from time to time, and continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated terms. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special loss arising from your use of the service, including loss of data, interrupted work, failed connections, or missing session history.
