This Privacy Policy explains how Scrum Planner handles information when you use the Scrum Planner website, mobile application, and related online room features. This policy applies to Scrum Planner services available from scrumplanner.app and to the Scrum Planner mobile application.
1. Who operates the service
Scrum Planner is operated by Null Island OU. For privacy questions or data requests, contact us through the Support page.
2. Information you provide
Scrum Planner does not require you to create an account. When you use online rooms, you may provide information such as a room name, display name, voting card selection, room settings, and other content you choose to enter during a planning session.
If you share a room link with others, anyone with that link may be able to join or view the room according to the room settings.
3. Information processed automatically
When the app connects to the online service, normal technical information may be processed, including IP address, device or browser type, operating system, request timestamps, and server logs. This information is used to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
The mobile app may create technical identifiers for room participation and session continuity. These identifiers are used for the app experience and are not used for advertising or tracking across apps or websites.
4. Local storage on your device
Scrum Planner may store preferences and recent session information locally on your device or in your browser, for example theme settings, selected deck, display name, room history, and similar app settings. You can remove this data by clearing app data, uninstalling the app, or clearing browser storage.
5. Device sensors
The mobile app may use device motion sensor data for local card interaction in the offline deck mode. This sensor data is processed locally on the device and is not sent to the server for this feature.
6. How we use information
We use information to provide online planning poker rooms, maintain room state during active sessions, let participants join and vote, support invite links, remember local preferences, prevent abuse, diagnose technical issues, and maintain service security.
7. Tracking, advertising, and sale of data
Scrum Planner does not sell personal data. The app is not designed to show advertising, track users across third-party apps or websites, or use data for third-party advertising.
8. Third-party infrastructure
The service may rely on hosting, networking, and other infrastructure providers to operate the website, backend, and online room features. These providers may process technical information as necessary to provide their services.
9. Data retention
Online room state is intended to support live planning sessions and is not intended as permanent storage. Technical logs may be retained for a limited period for security, diagnostics, and operational purposes. Local app data remains on your device until you remove it.
10. Your choices and rights
You can choose what room names, display names, and voting information you enter. You can remove local data from your device by clearing app or browser storage. Depending on your location, you may have legal rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of personal data. To make a request, use the Support page.
11. Children's privacy
Scrum Planner is intended for general team planning use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the policy on this page.
13. Contact
